As a mechanical engineer, I was looking for a small, quality tool chest to store my personal tools at work on my lab bench. I searched, and this one came up as a perfect size and happened to be pink. I actually bought my tools first and laid them out to make sure they would fit in a chest this big. When I got the chest it was as small as advertised but I have more storage than I thought I would – it’s surprisingly roomy for its size. The pink finish looks to be pretty durable, so it should hold up for years.
As for build quality – it is rock solid – the structure is stiff, the bearings are heavy duty without wobble, and the lock has a pretty clever and very effective mechanism.
The tools I’ve got in it are: six sets of allen wrenches in the first drawer (inch/metric L-keys, long T-handles, and mini-screwdriver type.). In the second drawer: two wire strippers, vise-grips, four regular size screwdrivers, two sets of mini-screwdrivers with a good bit (1/3 empty) of room to spare for additions. In the top there’s plenty of room for the awkward shaped and large tools like my 3lb mini-sledge, safety glasses, bit holders, epoxy, etc.
Highly recommended, and the pink is awesome.

Also, the price can’t be beat – this toolbox is much more useful and better built than other brands twice the price (the Kennedy machinist chest in particular).

I was so excited to see that my pink box had arrived. I right away took it out of it’s package and started to clean up my makeup case and put it away in it’s new storage my pink box!!!
